Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, led a delegation to pay a condolence visit to the family of the late elder statesman, Pa Edwin Clark. The visit was done yesterday 25th February 2025, it was a moment of deep reflection and tribute to the life and legacy of the renowned nationalist.

Governor Fubara, in a statement shared on social media, described Clark’s passing as a personal loss, referring to him as a father figure. “As a son, his passing is a deep personal loss. Pa Edwin Clark lived a good, fulfilled life worth celebrating,”the governor wrote.
The condolence visit saw key political and traditional leaders from Rivers State and beyond come together to honor the late statesman. Images from the visit depict a solemn atmosphere, with dignitaries seated in discussions and paying their respects.

Governor Fubara further stated that in collaboration with Clark’s family, arrangements have begun for the final interment to honor his cherished legacy. He prayed for the departed leader’s soul to rest in perfect peace.
