The Super Eagles of Nigeria suffered a narrow 1-2 defeat to Rwanda in a highly competitive match. Despite an early lead from Samuel Chukwueze, who found the net in the 59th minute, Rwanda staged an impressive comeback in the latter stages of the game.
Mutsinzi’s equalizer in the 72nd minute reignited Rwanda’s hopes, and just three minutes later, Nshuti secured the win with a decisive goal in the 75th minute. The result was a blow to Nigeria, who had controlled large portions of the game at the first half of the game but were undone by Rwanda stepped up their game and changed the atmosphere.
