Trump Warns Iran’s Supreme Leader Is an “Easy Target,” But Says U.S. Won’t Strike—For Now

U.S. President Donald Trump has issued a strong warning to Iran, revealing that American intelligence knows the exact location of Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, but says there are no immediate plans to eliminate him.

In a post on his platform, Truth Social, President Trump wrote:

“We know exactly where the so-called ‘Supreme Leader’ is hiding. He is an easy target, but is safe there – We are not going to take him out (kill!), at least not for now.”

Trump’s comments come amid heightened tensions in the Middle East following a series of missile and drone attacks blamed on Iran-backed militias.

He added:

“But we don’t want missiles shot at civilians, or American soldiers. Our patience is wearing thin.”

Heightened Global Tensions

The remarks have triggered strong reactions globally, as analysts warn that such language could escalate an already volatile standoff between the U.S. and Iran.

While no military action has been announced, President Trump’s statement signals that all options remain on the table should Iran continue hostile actions in the region.

The White House and Pentagon have not yet issued official comments on the post, but insiders suggest the U.S. is closely monitoring developments and preparing for any escalation.

Observers say this may be part of a broader strategy by the Trump administration to reassert American military dominance in the region while deterring attacks on U.S. interests.
