Port Harcourt Socialite Ceemore Settles Nightclub Assault Case Out of Court

Well-known city socialite, Ikechi Maduba, popularly known as Ceemore, has reached a private settlement with five women who accused him of assault at a popular nightclub in Port Harcourt. The case, which sparked public attention and trended on social media, has now been formally resolved.

Allegations Resolved Privately
The complainants – Innocent Stellaman, Juliet Obasi, Jennifer Chidiebere, Anthonia Okoye, and Onuoha Oluomachi – initially filed a legal complaint over the nightclub incident. However, during a court session before Magistrate Buzuge Kobani, their counsel, Cyrus Onu, informed the court that Ceemore had offered an apology and a financial settlement, which his clients accepted.

Court Strikes Out Case
With the matter resolved, the women filed an affidavit to withdraw the case, prompting Magistrate Kobani to strike it out. The development was later confirmed by their lawyer in a statement to journalists.

The settlement marks the end of the legal proceedings tied to the highly publicized incident.
