Nigerian football star Victor Osimhen has officially signed with Turkish giants Galatasaray in a sensational €75 million transfer from Napoli, setting a new record as the most expensive incoming player in Turkish football history.
The landmark deal shatters the previous Turkish transfer record of €20 million, set by Fenerbahce’s signing of Youssef En-Nesyri just last year.
Osimhen, 26, has penned a four-year contract with Galatasaray beginning with the 2025/2026 season. His new contract includes a hefty net salary of €15 million per season, a €1 million annual loyalty bonus, and €5 million each year for image rights. Napoli will also benefit from the deal, receiving 10% of any future profit from a subsequent transfer.
This transfer comes after a remarkable loan spell last season, during which Osimhen led Galatasaray to their 25th league title. He scored an astonishing 37 goals and delivered eight assists in 41 appearances across all competitions, firmly establishing himself as a fan favorite and key asset.
