Few days after a massive explosion at the Cawthorne Channel 1 flow station in IlamaToru, Rivers State, operated by NNPCL, residents are raising alarms over the lingering environmental damage and loss of lives.
According to reports from News Central, they indicated that three bodies have been recovered, while the waters surrounding the flow station remain contaminated with floating oil, threatening the livelihoods of the local fishing community.
