Bonny Island in Rivers State is now accessible by road from Port Harcourt for the first time, marking a significant milestone in Nigeria’s infrastructure development. Although the road is still under construction and not officially open to the public, progress on the long-awaited project has made vehicular travel between the two locations possible.

A lot of persons especially in Rivers state have reacted to this new changes stating this is a welcome development and there was also emphasis that the road is a potential to transform the daily lives of many in the region.
