The Nigeria National League (NNL) is set to announce the date and venue for the eagerly awaited Super Eight playoffs next week.
The playoff tournament will determine the four teams that will gain promotion to the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) for the 2024/2025 season.
From Conferences A and B, Osun United, Crown FC, Kun Khalifa FC, and Warri Wolves have secured their spots. They will be joined by Barau FC, Doma FC, Yobe Desert Stars, and Wikki Tourists, who qualified from Conferences C and D.
Beyond promotion, the tournament will also decide the overall champions of the 2024/2025 NNL season.
Meanwhile, eight teams have been relegated from the NNL to the Nationwide League, underscoring the competitive nature of Nigeria’s football pyramid.
