Trump Confirms U.S. Airstrikes on Iranian Nuclear Sites, Calls Operation a “Spectacular Success”

In a dramatic late-night address from the White House on Saturday, former U.S. President Donald Trump announced that the American military had carried out coordinated airstrikes on three major Iranian nuclear facilities—Fordow, Natanz, and Esfahan.

Trump said the strikes were designed to “eliminate Iran’s nuclear enrichment capabilities” and end what he described as the growing nuclear threat from Tehran, calling Iran “the world’s number one state sponsor of terror.”

Describing the mission as a “spectacular military success,” Trump claimed the targeted facilities were “completely and totally obliterated.”

“The bully of the Middle East must now choose peace. If not, future strikes will be even more powerful and far easier to execute,” Trump warned, adding that while the latest targets were the hardest and most dangerous, several other locations remain on the radar.

He praised the U.S. armed forces for executing what he called a near-impossible mission, stating, “There’s no military on earth that could’ve pulled this off—no one comes close.”

Earlier, Trump had taken to his Truth Social platform to break the news of the attack, saying, “We have completed our very successful attack on the three nuclear sites in Iran… All planes are safely on their way home. Congratulations to our great American Warriors.”

The strikes have already drawn reactions from world leaders. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu applauded Trump’s move, calling it a “bold decision” that could reshape the course of Middle Eastern history.

“Congratulations, President Trump,” Netanyahu wrote, “Your bold decision to strike Iran’s nuclear facilities with the awesome and righteous might of the United States will change history.”
